Attaining Educational Goals

Through the generous support and passion of our donors, we are able to award scholarships each year to the next generation of leaders shaping our community. Our scholarship programs allow staff to engage with local students during the application process, while community leaders and donors volunteer on the scholarship committees to recommend recipients. Scholarship Spotlight

The Charles and Maxine Williams Scholarship is an annual scholarship established by the Estate of Maxine Williams in memory of Charles and Maxine to benefit North Daviess High School graduating seniors. Graduating seniors of North Daviess High School who are planning to pursue a degree at an accredited 2- or 4-year educational institution or trade school are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale), demonstrate a strong work ethic, good citizenship, and respectable moral character, and have a financial need.


The scholarship was able to award three North Daviess High School students, $2,000 each. The 2022 recipients are Michaela Chambers is attending Vincennes University studying Agribusiness; Shayleigh Graber is attending the University of Evansville studying Psychology; and Dylan Wagler is attending Vincennes University studying Accounting.
